Megan and Jonathan - what an amazing couple. I had so much fun taking their pictures in the Nicholas Sheran Park on the west side of Lethbridge. I was soaking wet from head to toe when we finished: largely because I like to lay flat on my stomach to get the right angle. Congratulations to a wonderful couple, and two amazing friends. Coleen and Kirk's Engagement Photoshoot

The day we went out for Coleen and Kirk's engagement photo shoot - the world was white. I had first thought that the harsh white sky would make our shoot extremely difficult (there were a few f-bombs dropped) but it turned out incredible! Congratulations on the promise of a long and happy marriage together!

I love this picture! Kirk, you are straight out of a wrangler advertisement.

I think I love the expression on each of their faces in this picture. The angle makes it a little more interesting - even more than the fact that they're hanging out of the loft of a barn.

Brittany had this secret place full of hidden photography treasures to show me! The result was a beautiful set of family photos. Of corse it wasn't difficult with such stunning models. I only wish I could have shown them all.

My beautiful "roomies" and I went out on a gorgeous fall evening to take some photos. It was incredible to watch the sun fall slowly behind them framing their faces. If I had a choice, I would always take pictures outside. Unfortunately, I currently live in southern Alberta and this is not always possible - even in May.

Tiffany - you are beautiful! This is one of my favourite pictures and yet another example of my love for a "living" muse - preferably human.

Baby Photography

I am absolutely in love with baby Jewel (who as you will see later is no longer a baby). My gorgeous friends Britt and Chase Simpson created this stunning little one together. I am lucky enough to get the opportunity to chronicle her life. I'll be there for every big moment and every milestone.

Taking pictures of babies is a challenge but one that is hugely rewarding. Without knowing it they create such beautiful shots for their parents and photographer to enjoy.

Graduation Picture

Katelan, my stunning cousin graduated last summer and let me take a few pictures of her in her dress. It had such beautiful detail down the back, I wanted to try and capture that. I think this one is my favourite for sure. Love you Kate.

Vintage Wedding Dress

I wanted to take some pictures with a beautiful girl in a vintage wedding dress, an old worn out kitchen chair, antique suitcases, and some hot red lipstick. I was imagining strong beautiful women of the 40's, 50's and through the years. I saw this image in my head of women forced to suddenly change the direction of their lives, pack an old suitcase, and head out into uncertainty. There is beauty in the chaos of our growth, if we are open to it.
